After having a film applied to your glass, it is very important to follow these instructions to prevent peeling or unnecessary damage to the tint. For roughly 3-5 days:
To give the least chance of peeling on automotive tints, refrain from rolling down your windows while the film adheres. Our installers will tell you this or stick a sticker across your window switches to remind you.
Try to avoid using abrasive cleaning solutions and tools. Also avoid using window cleaning products that contain ammonia as this damages the adhesive on the tint.
For the next few days the tint will be settling onto the glass. Try not to touch the film as it cures. If you see anything that concerns you, then please visit our FAQ page for any questions you may have.
